I have outlook running on my lab computer, which is constantly on with a static IP. Is there a way to access my outlook email from the web, may be by installing an (third-party) add-on? In fact I'm looking for something exactly like Outlook Web Access (OWA) but we don't have exchange server so I can't use OWA.
Thanks..
Access outlook email via web without Exchange Server or Outlook Web Access?
I just don't use Outlook I never have there is not point when you're using hotmail or yahoo account it's just waste of your conexion internet signal
Reply:check your smtp and pop address at Outlook from
Tools %26gt; Account Settings %26gt; Email %26gt; and write down the smtp and pop address
Configure this at yahoo email, click Options %26gt; Mail addresses %26gt; Add ..then fill in the rest detail

Reply:nope, so far that i know you need to have exchange to run outlook web access.
why dont u try use squirrel mail? this is an alternative to use webmail while using your own domain name, but you must have webhosting with some webhosting company such as godaddy etc, and u need to register your own domain name to this webhosting.
once u got your domain and webhosting, then u will have your own private or company name.. for example
your domain name ... smartguy.com
then you can create your own email name@smartguy.com
etc..
hope this can help you....
cheers....
