It always comes up with Outlook even though Outlook is not used in any way. I have shut it all down. Thanks
When I want to email a page from a web site how do I make Yahoo the email address to use.?
Assuming you are using Internet Explorer, you can change the default mail client used by going to Tools %26gt; Internet Options, from the select the Programs tab and there's a drop down for E-mail.
Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure you can't change it to yahoo like you want... you'll just have to remember to copy the address and not click it... sorry :(
Reply:I don't know about Yahoo....but in Firefox theres an extension which launches ur online Gmail account whenever u click on a link which would otherwise open Outlook. I hope theres an extension for Yahoo in Firefox as well. Btw Firefox is a great browser so u should give it a try!
Hope this helps.

Why can't I email web sites to others?
If I was on a site %26amp; I right-clicked to email it to someone, I fill in their address, click send and a box pops up %26amp; says error %26amp; it won't let me send it. I'm assuming I need to change or delete something, but what? I am not too computer savvy..can anyone guide me as what I can do,seriously, without all the smart comments? The same thing happens if I am in my picture folder and want to email a picture...same problem.
Why can't I email web sites to others?
Do it from your mailbox, compose letter, then copy and paste url into letter, then send.
Reply:just cut the web-site address paste it on the e-mail your planning to send it wont come up on a link until you send the email to your friend
Reply:At this time Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. If you look you will find lots of people cannot send/receive/delete Ect. mail at the moment.
Also try using the YAHOO HELP button here is the link http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/or...

Recomend firewall for 10 IP's for web/email servers for simple port blocking. Make and Model or other info.
I have setup Sonicwall TZ 170's and ISA 2000 so I'm not illiterate on the
subject but far from any expert.
A problem I've had with ISA in the past was that all outbound traffic came
through a single IP address which caused problems with the email servers.
(I'm not certain this was due to ISA but it appeared to be). Additionally
since it runs on server hardware I'm concerned that routing all the traffic
through an ISA server may cause bottlenecks.
I need to make sure running traffic through the firewall doesn't create a
bottleneck. (We currently average about 500Kbps sometimes spiking to over
1Mbps)
I can't have the problem I had with ISA where all outbound traffic went
through a single IP address.
I really only need to route the traffic and block ports.
I don't currently need port mapping, port redirection, or VPN

you are getting WAY too advanced for Y/A, remember this site is mainly used by teenagers. I suggest going to a tech forum site and asking there. this is the site I use and they have some outstanding techs that run on it...

Dude, IMO it is a "bug". It works under one of my Yahoo ids and not on another. You are not the first to ask the same question. Yahoo! works on the squeaky wheel principle. The more people that report a problem, the higher likelihood to get it fixed. Report the problem to Y! Customer Care:

Don't forget to answer the Yahoo! Survey that will be e-mailed to you after you finish with Customer Care. Good luck.

I have internett connection but I can麓t see web pages or read email, 驴what麓s the problem?
My internet provider said "everything is OK, and your computer has viruses" but their are a monopolic company and nobody help me. I麓ve killed viruses and spies and everything but my situation doesn麓t change. Please, I need guidance to resolve this!!!
I have internett connection but I can麓t see web pages or read email, 驴what麓s the problem?
Reset you Network.
Heres how.
Unplug your cable/dsl modem. Plug it back in (Soem modems have a back up battery so if you unplug your modem and its still on, plug it back in and look for a reset switch and then find something like a paper clip that can push the button and reset your mdem that way.)
Wait for the cable light to be lit up SOLID, not BLINKING OR OFF.
Then if your behind a Hub/Switch/Router Or any Ethernet Spliting device, Reset that, by unplugig and plugijng back in. or hitting reset button.
Then (This ONLY Applies to people who have a wireless access point on their router.) Reset your Access point, by unplugging and plugging back in or hitting the reset button.
The the final step is to restart your computers.
Try and see if that works.
Good LUCK!
Reply:Whats your router/Internet provider?
Belkin: ring em up and start the disk configure it to 1 plugged internet/1 wireless internet

I have registered a domain name and have subscribed to web hosting. How do I set up an email address?
This information should be on the home page of the Domain that hosts your site.
Reply:You ask your Web hosting provider to give you the required email IDs.
If you have your own exchange server or another provider who gives you mail boxes - Ask your web site host to change the 'MX Record' to the server where mails will be hosted.

Reply:Your ISP will have a virtual POP sever for your account. The name of the server will be something like pop.%26lt;yourdomian%26gt;.com or mail.%26lt;yourdomain%26gt;.com. Your email address will be %26lt;anythingyouwant%26gt;@%26lt;yourdomain%26gt;.com (or whatever). The smtp address will be something like smtp.%26lt;yourdomain%26gt;.com. Set up your mail client with those details and the password for your account and voila!
