I am recently using Squirrelmail and been searching the net about squirrelmail and ended up in wikipedia discovering other free webmails. I found this list:
1. Horde IMP,
2. OpenWebmail (based on NeoMail),
3. RoundCube,
4. Zimbra, and
5. SquirrelMail
What is best Open-Source Webmail (Web-Based Email)?
Horde, Neomail and SquirrelMail are the most popular ones offered by web hosts. I would say you won't go too wrong with any of the three but my IMHO SquirrelMail's interface is very dated and not the most user-friendly.
